Key Leader Info

Van Buren 4-H Leaders Association Auction

Information for Key Leaders and/or Auction Coordinators

q Saturday,
March 7th, 2015 at the Van Buren Conference Center 490 S Paw Paw St.
Lawrence, MI 49064. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. with the auction beginning
at 10:00 a.m.

q All
clubs MUST participate in the auction.

q Each
family is asked to get a minimum of one item donated to the Leaders
Association.

q All
money raised will stay with the Van Buren County 4-H Leaders�
Association

q Each
club needs to have a minimum of two volunteers there on the day of the
auction. One in the morning from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and one in the
afternoon from 12:30 p.m. to the end. We are looking for teenagers
and/or adults; younger youth are welcomed to help if they have a parent
or guardian with them. Please have these names to Janice by February 1st.

q Key
Leader or someone in the club needs to be responsible for collecting
donated items from the families by February 1 and submitting the
receipts to Gary Consford,gconsford@gmail.com .
As you get items, please email Gary so we are not compiling the entire
list at the end.

q Key
Leader or someone in the club needs to bring all items to the Van Buren
Conference Center on Friday, February 28th between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00
p.m.

q Letters
will be going out to every family in November letting them know about
getting an item donated and the auction. We are also including
information on how to ask for a donation, how to fill out the receipts
and a receipt to be completed when they receive a donation.
